My interest in creating jewellery follows a lifelong passion for, and teaching of, fashion, art, design and textile arts.
I like to explore the possibilities presented by the use of simple materials and forms, making the most of their varied characteristics, textures, colours and reflective qualities.
I like my work to be individual and affordable and distinct from that found on the high street. I enjoy experimenting with such materials as metal, rubber, Perspex, glass, fabric, paper, and semi-precious stones. More recently I have been working with 3d printing using PLA, a material based on cornstarch.
